Why We Built This Site
Washington offers several forms of public access, yet no single Spokane counter holds the whole record. Detention Services maintains the current roster and protected jail files. The arresting agency keeps its incident narrative. Superior, District, and municipal court clerks keep charges, hearings, judgments, and disposition records. The Washington State Patrol runs WATCH from the Washington State Identification System, while the Washington Department of Corrections and the public registry answer different custody and safety questions. This site brings the verified search routes, fees, request steps, and office contacts into one local reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Case guidance: ways to locate and read Spokane County criminal court cases
- Official checks: the difference between a WATCH name search and a fingerprint-based WSP self-review
- Agency routing: contacts for the sheriff, detention offices, court clerks, and state record systems
- Record relief: how Washington separates conviction vacation, court sealing, and deletion of qualifying nonconviction data
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of Spokane County or Washington government. It is not connected to a court, police department, sheriff, or state agency. Those boundaries mean:
- We do not retrieve official criminal histories or perform government record checks
- We cannot submit a public-record request, vacation motion, sealing request, or other filing for a visitor
- We issue no certified court copies, police reports, booking files, or WSP transcripts
- We do not provide legal advice about a charge, case, registration duty, or record-relief option
- We cannot promise that an agency has not changed a fee, address, schedule, or online interface
An official record must come from its custodian, such as a court clerk, the Spokane County Sheriff, or the Washington State Patrol.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes found on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee for this site, which supports free access to the reference material. We neither set the provider's charges nor determine the contents of its response.
